Onward, continue to read and study one chapter of the bible every day. prayerfully read the whole 3rd Chapter of the book of SONGS OF SONGS.
📖 SONGS OF SONGS 3
[2] I will get up now and go about the city, through its streets and squares;
I will search for the one my heart loves. So I looked for him but did not find him.
[3] The watchmen found me as they made their rounds in the city. “Have you seen the one my heart loves?”
[4] Scarcely had I passed them when I found the one my heart loves. I held him and would not let him go till I had brought him to my mother’s house, to the room of the one who conceived me.
[6] Who is this coming up from the wilderness like a column of smoke, perfumed with myrrh and incense made from all the spices of the merchant?
Beloved, may the peace of God be unto you. Here we see the kind of trouble the church can run into if it lost Christ. Verse 5, shows how precious the church is, Christ cares for it.
1️⃣ EVERYONE PLAYS HIS/HER ROLE IN LOVE
📍 Let woman give herself to Christ before giving herself to any earthly friend, and enter into no relation which shall conflict with this. Those who would find true happiness must have the blessing of Heaven upon all that they possess and all that they do. – AH 67.3
➡️In love between men and women , between those ready to found a family, today’s song has shown as how they must seek each other. Everyone works for the benefit of love. It’s not about waiting for being loved while you show no love.
👉But whether you be a man or woman, before giving your heart to anyone, give it first to God. Thus He will lead you into the love you wish to be in or are in.
2️⃣SEARCH FOR HIM EVERYWHERE
📍 Seek the LORD while he may be found; call on him while he is near. Let the wicked forsake their ways … our God, for he will freely pardon. (Isaiah 55:6-7)
➡️Verse 1-4, the bride(church, you) is seeking her lover everywhere, until she finds Him held Him and would not let Him go.
👉Today if you seek Christ you can find Him, but that will not always be the case. Some think that they have Him and think they have reached a level where they no longer need to seek Him and are risking to lose Him consciously or not. If you hold Him do not let Him go.
👉Do not let watchmen distract you though they may show you the way (or lead you astray), keep in mind that you are the one to find Him personally.
🔆The place He is preparing for us, is splendid. Be in in Jesus; and if you are Him and He is in you, please don’t let Him go. Hold Him fast otherwise you are lost.
🛐GOD, HELP US TO SEEK CHRIST, AND TO OFFER HIM A DWELLING IN OUR HEARTS.🙏
