Onward, continue to read and study one chapter of the bible every day. prayerfully read the whole 6th Chapter of the book of SONG OF SONGS.
📖 SONG OF SONGS 6
[1] Where has your beloved gone, most beautiful of women? Which way did your beloved turn, that we may look for him with you? She:
[2] My beloved has gone down to his garden, to the beds of spices, to browse in the gardens and to gather lilies.
[3] I am my beloved’s and my beloved is mine; he browses among the lilies.He:
[10] Who is this that appears like the dawn, fair as the moon, bright as the sun, majestic as the stars in procession? She:
[11] I went down to the grove of nut trees to look at the new growth in the valley, to see if the vines had budded or the pomegranates were in bloom.
Beloved, may the peace of God be unto you. Though we are still learning about Christ through the Songs of Songs, this should not prevent us from enjoying the sweet conversation between lovebirds, these should happen between lovers. Today, let us look at the other secret of the church development, it’s unity. Pilgrim, remember to always pray.
1️⃣THE TRUE CHURCH IS THE ONE THAT PRAYS
📍 My beloved has gone down to his garden, to the beds of spices,…(Songs 6:2)
📖 May my prayer be set before you like incense; may the lifting up of my hands be like the evening sacrifice. (Psalm 141:2)
➡️Christ wants prayers in the church. The prayers of the saints are like incense that ascends before God. When we pray in the name of Jesus Christ, He refines them and they reach the Father with a nice smelling, and the plans of God get fulfilled (Jeremiah 29:11). Live a life of prayer.
2️⃣THE CHURCH WORKS IN UNISON
📍 So long as they remained united, the church would go forth “fair as the moon, clear as the sun, and terrible as an army with banners.” Song of Solomon 6:10. Nothing could withstand her onward progress. The church would advance from victory to victory, gloriously fulfilling her divine mission of proclaiming the gospel to the world. – AA 90.2
➡️Jesus asks His church to be one as He is One with the Father (John 17:23). That is when the bride(the church) becomes fair as the moon, bright as the sun(verse 10), and the whole world knows the gospel. Lack of unity in the church delays God’s work. Let us pray God to save us from division.
🛐GOD, GIVE US STRENGHT THAT MAKE US LOVE TO PRAY AND STUDY ABOUT YOU. GUARD US FROM DIVISION.🙏
