Onward, continue to read and study one chapter of the bible every day. Prayerfully study the whole 13th Chapter of the book of LUKE.
? LUKE 13
[6] He also spoke this parable: “A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard, and he came seeking fruit on it and found none.
[7] Then he said to the keeper of his vineyard, ‘Look, for three years I have come seeking fruit on this fig tree and find none. Cut it down; why does it use up the ground?’
[8] But he answered and said to him, ‘Sir, let it alone this year also, until I dig around it and fertilize it.
[9] And if it bears fruit, well. But if not, after that you can cut it down.’ ”
Beloved of God, peace be unto you. The patience of God is salvation. But for how long will it last?
1️⃣ BUT IF DOESN’T BEAR FRUIT YOU CAN CUT IT DOWN
✳️ “God in His Son had been seeking fruit, and had found none. The Israelites had misrepresented God among the nations. They were not merely useless, but a decided hindrance. To a great degree their religion was misleading, and wrought ruin instead of salvation.” COL 136
⚠️ “Are you, O careless heart, a fruitless tree in the Lord’s vineyard? Shall the words of doom erelong be spoken of you? How long have you received His gifts? How long has He watched and waited for a return of love? you have taken the name of Christ, the tide of His life does not flow through you. “The fruits of the Spirit,” are not seen in your life.” COL 137
➡️Heaven has put in place all means to seek man. How long will it last? One day a decision will be made that “Cut it down; why does it use up the ground?” Luke 13:7. Reconcile with God while Jesus is still on the throne of mercy.
2️⃣ THE TEARS OF JESUS
? “O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her brood under her wings, but you were not willing!” Luke 13:34.
?Jesus saw what Jews couldn’t see; He saw the tragedy that was about to befall Jerusalem but they couldn’t see it. When they told Him” Get out and depart from here” Luke 13:31 Jesus was very pained and cried. Asking Him to leave was rejecting God’s mercy. Many reject God and welcome Satan unconsciously. Watch out lest you reject God and invite Satan unconsciously. Not long after those who rejected Jesus faced the wrath of God and were destroyed. Those who continue to reject God, will finally perish. Choose God today so you may find assurance for the time of tribulation. Get assured by accepting Jesus who visited you.
? GOD SAVE US FROM MAKING JESUS CRY. HELP US TO CONSIDER OUR END WHILE POSSIBLE. ?
