[4] Daughters of Jerusalem, I charge you: Do not arouse or awaken love until it so desires.
[6] Place me like a seal over your heart, like a seal on your arm; for love is as strong as death, its jealousy unyielding as the grave. It burns like blazing fire, like a mighty flame.
[7] Many waters cannot quench love; rivers cannot sweep it away. If one were to give all the wealth of one’s house for love, it would be utterly scorned.
[14] Come away, my beloved, and be like a gazelle or like a young stag on the spice-laden mountains.
Beloved, may the peace of God be into you. Let us end this book admiring again the power of love, because it is greater than anything else. Pilgrim to Zion never play with love and pretend to love or devalue someone else’s love.
1️⃣LET US LOVE ONE ANOTHER SINCERELY (Songs 8:6,7)
?… for love is as strong as death, its jealousy unyielding as the grave. It burns like blazing fire, like a mighty flame. Many waters cannot quench love…(verses 6,7)
➡️If you read 1 Corinthians 13, you find out that love is greater than all things. If you do not love your spouse, your church member, if a stranger does not see love in you, you do not know God because God is love. May Christ abide in us so we can possess love.
2️⃣THE LOVE OF GOD IS AMAZING
? Seeing the danger of Judas, He had brought him close to Himself, within the inner circle of His chosen and trusted disciples. – Ed 92.4
➡️Real love was proven when Christ loved his church and died for it. It has shown us that the love we have seen in this book between spouses, between humans, and the love for God is only possible for those who received it from God.
?Love that is patient, that extends to traitors like Judas, and remains even unto death! It can not be found anywhere but from the Lord.
?Love from men seeks interest, the owner of this one would be utterly scorned(verse)
⏯️Love from heaven is a fire that can not be quenched by the whole sea’s water.
?Nothing should separate us from it(Romans 8:35-39). Ask for it from God, He is the one who can give it.
?LORD GOD, MAY YOUR LOVE FILL US. LET US BOAST IN IT, AND LET IT BE THE FOUNDATION OF OUR DECISIONS.
